Returns & Exchanges

At Ring Atelier Chicago, we are committed to your satisfaction with every purchase! However, due to the custom nature of our jewelry, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds but do provide exchanges or store credit under certain conditions. Please review our guidelines below.

Exchanges or Store Credit

  • You may exchange your item or request store credit within 7 days of receiving your purchase, subject to approval.
  • Exchanges are accepted for items purchased directly from Ring Atelier Chicago, either through our website or in our showroom.
  • Store creditsmay be used for future purchases on ringatelier.com or towards a customized item. However, store credits cannot be applied to bridal or custom projects.

Exchange Requirements

  • All exchange requests must be approved in advance. Please contact us to initiate the process.
  • Items must be returned in original, unworn condition, along with their Ring Atelier Chicago box and pouch.
  • Upon receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will process the exchange or store credit, excluding any original or return shipping costs.

Custom Orders

  • Custom and personalized pieces(including engraving, sizing, custom designs, or unique gemstones) are consideredFinal Saleand cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Rings ordered online, which are made-to-order, may be subject to a 15% restocking fee if an exchange or cancellation request is made while the item is still in production.

Holiday Returns

  • Gift purchases made between November 15, 2024, and December 25, 2024, can be exchanged or returned for store credit untilJanuary 8, 2025.
  • The same return and exchange policies apply to holiday gift orders.

Exclusions

  • Merchandise showing any signs of wear, resizing, or damage will not be accepted and will be returned at the sender’s expense.
  • Gift cards are non-refundable.
  • Non-jewelry items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Repairs

If your Ring Atelier Chicago piece becomes damaged, we are happy to offer repair services. Please contact us at management@ringatelier.com with details about the issue. Repairs are subject to an additional charge, plus shipping and handling fees. We will provide further instructions on how to proceed once we receive your repair request.

Exchange Process

  • Package your jewelry in its original Ring Atelier Chicago packaging (box and pouch).
  • Include your exchange form (which can be downloaded from our website) inside the shipping box.
  • Attach the pre-paid shipping label we provide and drop off the package at the appropriate carrier (UPS or FedEx).
  • For domestic exchanges, shipping charges will apply to your new order if the total is under $500.
  • For international exchanges, you will be responsible for return shipping as well as shipping costs for the new item.
